CSAC 2022 Summer Regional Meeting



Counties throughout California are experiencing significant staff turnover and recruitment challenges. Workforce housing, childcare supply, work-life-balance, public discourse, and other reasons are cited as factors leading to employee turnover and high vacancy rates at the county level.

The critical importance of maintaining a strong county employee workforce to carry out county services and ensure the needs of our residents are being met necessitates urgent action. To meet this need, CSAC will conduct our Summer Regional Meeting on Thursday, June 23, in San Luis Obispo County to help county leaders understand both the labor and supply demands impacting the local government workforce.  

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from workforce experts, receive a briefing on proposed legislation, and learn about current best practices.
