The CSAC Institute is excited to announce the return of our So You Want to be the CAO/CEO? seminar!

This special programming will take place over a four-month period and will consist of: two executive in-person coaching sessions, three virtual sessions, and curriculum designed with feedback from current and retired CAOs/CEOs. This program is exclusively for senior county executives who have recently been appointed to or are considering advancement to a CAO/CEO position as a next step in their career development.

In order to be eligible for selection, you must be a senior county executive who is considering advancement to a county chief executive position or have recently been appointed into the role. If not the newly appointed CAO/CEO, you must also have your county's CAO's/CEO's signed approval to attend. 

All applications will be reviewed by a panel of CSAC Institute senior executives as well as seminar facilitators.

Application Deadline

Submissions will only be accepted via the online Member Portal. To access the application, either create a new user account or sign-in.

All applications must be submitted no later than 5:00 PM on Friday, March 25, 2022.


Payment Details
Payment will be collected after applicants have been notified of their acceptance into the program. After notified, participants will have 30 days to pay the registration fee.
